Health Testing

Below are the health tests we do for our adult dogs prior to breeding them and their puppies before they go to their new homes

• • BAER Testing (for hearing)

  • Progressive Retinal Atrophy, PRCD 

  • Primary Lens Luxation

  • MDR1 Drug Sensitivity 

  • RCD4 Progressive Retinal Atrophy

  • Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 5, NCL 5

  • Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 8, NCL 8

  • Late-Onset Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis, NCL 12

  • Cystinuria Type II-A

  • Myotonia Congenita

  • Dilated Cardiomyopathy, DCM2

In addition to the above Heath Testing we do  for our puppies, we also perform the following evaluations recommended by the Australian Cattle Dog Club of America:

  • OFA Evaluation for Elbow Dysplasia

  • OFA Evaluation for Patellar Luxation

  • OFA Evaluation for Cardiac (Heart)

  • CAER Evaluation for Eye Health
